Remington Steele.
I just started watching yesterday, and already I'm on the sixth episode. It's kind of like Murder, She Wrote, but younger. And with wittier banter (I'm such a sucker for witty banter!). In addition to that, it has that lovely soft 80s aesthetic I just love. The kind displayed so well by Victoria magazine. No neon or crazy permed hair to be found.
You're welcome.

P.S. Each and every episode incorporates the name 'Steele' into the title. No matter what.
I love, love, LOVED Remington Steele but it came on past my bedtime so I had to wait until summer re-runs to watch it! And yes, I'm that old, LOL! Life before the internets, dvr and netflix was rough ;)
ReplyDeleteI also was a subscriber to Victoria magazine from it's start way back in '87! Instead of fashion and teen magazines, I was reading that in Jr. High & high school. Those amazing fashion spreads (and the hair!) still make me swoon.
Oh my! You had very good taste as a kid.
ReplyDeleteI kind of remember life before the internet, but I'm afraid I've blocked out most of it!
Victoria is wonderful! I'm so sad that I've only been able to find a few issues in our basement, but every time I go home, I look for more. They've recently (a year or two ago) started producing new issues. They're very pretty, but I miss the soft-focus. I'm planning to post more scans, so stay tuned!
